BACK READING

Now that the finals of my last semester before internship is checked off the list, let’s get some reading done shall we? Haven’t been on track with reading this year, blergh blame the thesis writing (tho i enjoyed every part of my final year project, even the ugly-stressful part of it). I aimed for 35 books this year which at this point I’m only at 19 and it’s already December! I’m supposed to be done with 35 or at least few books away from it. But let’s see how this goes.
Made a vow to read more of a serious kinda book more instead of my fav high fantasy and the fluffy chick-lit ones. I mean it took me a semester to finish A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara which is freaking 6 months. That’s the longest i ever took to finish a book, mind you it’s 8++ pgs long so it’s fine, it’s all good. Back to business, i might have to pass that vow for next year because right now there’s so much of chick-lit and high fantasy temptations for me 😭. I’ve been working my back off for the whole year finishing engineering school , i should do whatever it is that fills my happy tank full (anything to justify my failed vow).
